We have registered as Charitable Public Trust under Mumbai Public Trust Act, 1950 under the name of “ Central Government Employees Education Society “ vide registration number F/6803 B & situated at CGS Colony, S.M. Plot, Sector VII, Antop Hill, Mumbai-400 037 over 2.42 Acres of Land allotted to us by Ministry of Urban Development Government of India in the year 1987. Our all trustees are either serving or retired Central Govt. Employees who are rendering selfless services to the Society.
Academic Journey..
CGEES began its journey in 1981. From the time of its inception, CGEES has traversed many boundaries to develop its own expertise in the fields of education. Our excellence can be exemplified by the fact that from 40 Students in Primary & merely 300 Students in K.G. Section the same number have gone up to 1300 Students in the year 2018-19.
We are now operating with 1400 students on roll and around 50 well trained Teaching & Non-Teaching Staff to look after them. We have proper infrastructure which is the basic requirement for the development of student. We have 12 class rooms as well as well established & equipped Science Laboratory, Computer Lab, Library, Sports Complex including Lawn Tennis Court and precious stage for conducting Cultural and Co- curricular Activities to impart quality education & overall improvement of skills of students. There are also separate offices for Human Management and Staff Common rest room in the school premises. We have also developed a lush green playground and beautiful green environment surrounding in our school.
We are proud that our school is achieving almost 100% result in S.S.C. Exams consecutively for last 25 years & is considered to be one of the best schools in locality. We have also been awarded many Certificates of Appreciations by the Govt. of Maharashtra, Ministry of Education.
Our Students also showing their talents in various sports and co-curricular competitions held at Districts, State and National Levels, in fact, one of our candidate Master Sayeed Sazzir Khan represented us in Disc Throw Competition at State Level in 2011-12. In 2016- 17, our five candidates have been selected for Annual Sports Day for Scouts and Guide, District Mumbai & got a top ranks at the Competition. As we all know that Olympiad is well known scholars examination at National Level and we would like to proudly state that our students are winning shields and prizes consecutively for last five years in Geography Olympiad.
